Useful information should be clear about where it comes from.
Eastern Microgreens is built to help growers make practical decisions. Our goal is to separate evidence, grower experience, product judgment and uncertainty instead of presenting every claim with the same level of confidence.
We prefer primary and extension sources
For growing methods, food safety and technical claims, we prioritize university Extension material, government agencies, research institutions and manufacturer documentation when appropriate. Community discussions can help identify real grower questions, but they are not treated as authoritative evidence by themselves.
We distinguish practical guidance from guarantees
Microgreens respond to seed lot, temperature, humidity, light, media, tray design and watering. We avoid pretending that one exact day count, water volume or light height works for every setup.
We update content when the underlying information changes
Guides may be revised as better sources, product changes or new safety information become available. Material changes should improve the usefulness or accuracy of the page rather than simply changing wording for freshness.
Our editorial pen names
Eastern Microgreens uses consistent house bylines to make it easier for readers to recognize the kind of content they are reading. These are editorial pen names used by the publication rather than representations of separate public staff identities.

Affiliate relationships do not decide what we recommend
Some future product links may earn a commission. A product can still be criticized, excluded or replaced if it is not a good fit for the use case. Affiliate availability is not a substitute for quality, durability, value or suitability.
Corrections matter
If a factual error is identified, the goal is to correct the underlying information rather than defend old wording. Readers should be able to understand the recommendation without needing to trust a hidden scoring system.
